Lee's Summit Quilt Show

It was a grand time in the KC area during the Lee's Summit Quilt Show! Pretty quilts at the show! Nice women to help us in our vending area! My friend Geri came along to help and we had the best time!

There are lots of new punch needle lovers in KC!

And there are lots of wool and appliqué lovers too!

We had a great time chatting and talking English Paper Piecing. I love talking with other quilters! These are my English Paper Piecing Pincushion Patterns and samples. They are a great way to try out English Paper Piecing.

We met with my college friends for dinner and got all caught up on our lives since we last saw each other. These are the best buddies a girl could ever have! Isn't it great to see old friends and pick up right where you left off?!? Geri had great patience listening to all of our rumblings about our past together. Good food and good friends old and new...you can't beat that!

Right before I left town I fixed up the quilt ladder my Dad made for me. We've stained and varnished it since I last posted about it. I've put some of my favorite quilts on it. These are designed by others as it is easier to have mine packed and ready for the next outing. You can also see my window treatments pretty well in this picture. It is usually difficult to get a good picture, but it looks like my new camera did pretty good for me! Yeah!

It sure was a fun weekend in KC. I can't thank Geri enough for helping me! Thank You Thank You Geri!

Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!

Take care,

Missie

  1. Missie... your booth looks FABULOUS! Love the Wool Pennies Quilt! You are truly a talented lady! Nice pics of your ladder... love the window covering on your curved window... it has to be the best I've ever seen for that style of window!

  4. Your booth is so inspiring, I had to buy one of the patterns online! It was one I had been admiring for while, but it is probably a good thing I didn't get to visit your booth in person...I might have lost all self control! Hahaha your booth (and your work) is gorgeous!
