Drumroll Please......The winner is...

And the winner is..... Jacqueline! Give it up for Jacqueline and 100 posts! Congratulations!!
She's a new follower by way of Woolie Mammoth Blog! She wishes me good luck on a hundred more posts! I sure hope I can keep you all interested for that long and longer... As I said before, it has been so nice to "meet" each and every one of you over the past year. Wish I could give you all 100 pieces of fabrics... I look forward to getting to know you all better as time goes by. Please feel free to leave comments any time so we can get to know each other better!

Today, I spent some time quilting on the Des Moines Area Quilt Guild's Show Quilt. We will sell tickets at our show in October for a chance to win. It's a beauty for sure! Very unique as it celebrates quilting history. I took a few pictures the other day and you can see a bit of the quilt in the pictures.
Here, we have Deanna, Marge (who designed the quilt), and Virginia.
Kathy and Helen,

And Val and Carolyn! We are having fun together quilting and getting to know each other. Some of these ladies i know already, others i am just meeting. It's so special to sit at a frame and quilt as our ancestors did long ago. I'm going to miss stitching with these ladies when the quilt is done! We have a ways to go on the quilting so we will still see each other for a while to stitch! I'll show a full picture in the near future when I can get a snapshot.
Have you ever quilted on a frame? This is my first time to quilt like this! So fun!
Thanks for participating in the giveaway post! I loved reading all the comments.
Take care,

100th Post! Give Away to Celebrate!!

Wow! I can't believe I have posted a hundred posts to this's been a fun year and it's been so nice to "meet" all of you! Our paths would not have crossed had it not been for this wonderful world of blogging. I am so thankful to be enjoying this little journey with you all! To celebrate, let's have a give away! What better to have as a gift for a 100th Party, than 100 - 5" pieces of fabric! That's right! Time to take a chance to see if you can win a collection of 100 - 5" blocks from my stash!

I'll start with these and move on to more of my favorite fabrics to share until I get to 100 pieces! And, I'll probably add in a little something extra! To be eligible to win, please tell me which post has been your favorite since the beginning of this blog and why you liked it. Also, I'd like you to be a follower (you can even be a new follower!) and enjoy following and commenting on my blog! I'll keep this open for a week and then we'll do the drawing from everyone who's commented.

Be sure you give me your email address if you are a no reply blogger...the last drawing I had, this happened! You can also change your settings so you can get emails.

This reminds me that I never chose a second place winner last time, so I will draw again now....and the New Winner Is....Gayle! This was a drawing for my pattern, Sunflower Pincushion. I know Gayle likes wool, so maybe she will make the wool version and show us sometime soon! Congrats Gayle! She has a great blog called , The Middle Sister.

Be sure to sign up to win the current give away and please spread the news about the interview I have today at 3:00 central time with Pat Sloan by sharing the link in the last post or the button in my sidebar! Work, Work, Work...

Turning a hobby into a job is lots of fun, but it does eventually turn into work! Yes, Work! LOL! Still brings lots of joy and lets me feed my habit, but I am ready to get back to the fun part...Stitching! I am in the middle of updating my website and hope to finish up in the next few days. I am using a new software program so the learning curve was long, but I think most of my worries are gone now. All I have to do now is input the info correctly!

The look is going to be very similar, but hopefully it will be easier for shoppers to check out.

I want to make it an easy experience for you and hopefully things will work well.

I hope to be back soon with something fun to show you besides...Work! Haha!

Have a great day!

Take care,
