Join me for a Handwork Stitching Retreat!

How about joining me for a Fall Hand Stitching Retreat on Table Rock Lake near Branson, MO? We had such a blast this past spring, several gals asked me to plan another one! So we'll be gathering September 22-27th, 2024 for some great handwork stitching, cross stitching, punching, hooking or whatever your heart desires! Look at this beautiful lodge!! I've got 2-3 spots left! You'd be in one of the bedrooms shown below, depending on how things work out as folks sign up. Bring a friend or travel alone ready to meet some new friends! We will focus on friendship and stitching any sort of handwork or fiber craft you love to work on.

The cost for a shared room is $480. If you want to make that bunk room with single beds a private room for yourself the cost is $800. This includes 4 full days of stitching in the beautiful lodge seen below, 5 nights of lodging, breakfast choices each day, 2 casual evening meals and a welcome night charcuterie appetizer. We will have so much fun!

New Mystery Stitch Along! Whispers of Fall

 We have another stitch along starting in Woolie Friends Stitch A Longs! Join us for a Free Whispers of Fall block each week for 12 weeks! Pre-Orders are starting…NOW! 12 design teams are getting together to bring you a wonderful project. We have 2 blocks released so far!

 New Classes Announced for Next Spring! 

 AcademyofApplique.com has all the details for my new designs I'll be teaching next spring during the big event.  Let me tell you, these events are so very special.  I just love hanging out with ladies who love applique' as much as I do...truly!  Please consider joining me for Folk Art Whimsey...

These projects are VERY fun to make!  Using my unique technique for starch basting the shapes to have a wonderful finished edge with ease, you will have these shapes prepared in no time to make these stunning blocks.  Finish them as seen here as a one block quilt, or add a border or multiple blocks to make a larger quilt!  We will learn how to make all the shapes and discuss ways to make them into larger quilts and incorporate secondary designs to make the viewer gasp with delight.  Folk Art Whimsey is a bit easier than most of my projects giving you a chance for a very quick finish.  It has a bit of English Paper Piecing as well as Applique'.   Floret is an intermediate level and will surprise you how quickly the shapes come together.  Layers of applique create such dimension and interest.  Any color changes to the kits can be made if you want me to build you a custom kit.
