A Good Morning...

A good morning starts with coffee, then Needle and Thread and of course beautiful fabric! Don't you love this Kansas Troubles color? It may not be available in the same print now, but I love knowing I can always find this wonderful color year after year! It's blending wonderfully with all my English Paper Piecing Hexies!

Have a great stitching day!

Take care,

  1. Hi Missie--I DO love that color--Paper Bag brown, toffee, I don't know what you call it, but it is so lovely...perfect for your background..have afun stitchery day hugs, Julierose

  2. I have that very fabric in several of my quilts, and I love it! :0)

  3. Funny, I just had my KT fabrics out last night for the first time in quite a while, and was working with that color in a few of her prints. This is looking very interesting. Can't wait to see what you have going here.

  4. That does look beautiful together and I think I have something similar.

  5. This looks very pretty Missie, love to see more of the applique there in the corner.

  6. I cut some of that very fabric yesterday. I agree. There's nothing better than a cup of coffee and a bit of stitching to get my day off to a good start.

  7. I'm a hexie-maniac - can't wait to see what you're doing here - a cool looking border I think!

  8. I LoVe that color and those fabrics, I sew with them always always! I'd love to see the piece you are working on. Are you stitching the Hexi's to it? Very interesting.

  9. Can you tell me the name and color of that fabric you are using for the base? Such a great color. Thank you.

    1. Barb, Thanks for your comment. You are a no reply blogger so I couldn't reply to your email. The fabric is Kansas Troubles and is the lighter gold color. It's an older print but the same colors are produced. Many shops have them. Good luck finding it!
